Dance Around is committed to promoting the enjoyment of dance while increasing education and appreciation for the dance world.

Initiated in 2009 as an answer to meet the needs of many in the Montrose Area to provide an enjoyable dance experience for the kids and their parents, Dance Around listens to the wants and needs of the community and strives to follow through with what YOU want.

How? By offering the best options and a variety of programs that meet your needs. We understand your desire to create a positive environment for you child and aim to create such a place every day for every child. And most importantly, we are here for the kids! We hope to boost confidence, self-esteem and positivity within the community of our Youth and to do so in a open, accepting and enjoyable atmosphere of support.

Who is Dance Around? Studio Director, Kate Florian, began the studio with the intention of offering a comparable-to-sports activity for children and adults

wishing to explore their artistic side through movement. She understands that a parents job is to create well-rounded, happy, healthy and successful individuals, and she wants to help you achieve that goal.

All of our classes are taught by trained adults and all of our children are given their own freedom of expression in class as well as in performances.

We offer economical ways for you to enjoy classes and performances without financial stress, strain or heartache.

Our classes are geared toward ability and age levels and offer challenges within means, engaging dance activities, and heart warming experiences.

Our performances offer children a chance to showcase their talents and abilities to their absolute best. We prefer to keep the focus on our children by minimizing the use of extravegant sets, lights and effects, by keeping the teachers and assistants out of the spotlight, and by giving our dancers their own moments to shine.

We MUST make every child SMILE in each and every class and have them leave with a feeling that they accomplished something powerful that day!
